Bark & Mane is a locally owned, professional mobile grooming company serving Central Virginia. We provide a premium, one‑on‑one grooming experience focused on comfort, safety, and overall pet well‑being.
Our fully equipped mobile grooming vans are climate‑controlled and designed to operate independently — no external water or power hookups required. Each van includes its own fresh and grey water system, heat, air conditioning, and professional grooming equipment, allowing groomers to deliver high‑quality care right in the client’s driveway.
We are a 100% cage‑free, stress‑reduced, wellness‑focused grooming service, giving pets individualized attention from start to finish. Our spacious grooming vans allow pets to move comfortably and help groomers work efficiently while maintaining a calm, safe environment.

At Bark & Mane, you’ll make a real difference in the lives of pets and the families who love them.
We are looking for compassionate, reliable groomers who take pride in their work and genuinely enjoy building relationships with pets and clients. Candidates must love animals, have a clean driving record, and feel confident working independently without direct supervision. Strong communication skills are essential — you’ll be guiding pet parents on what’s best for their pet’s coat, comfort, and overall well‑being.
Previous grooming experience is required. Pet‑handling skills are a plus, but we will train you in our safe, low‑stress handling methods to ensure the best experience for both you and the pets in your care.
